Endolit Team

 

The Endolit team has two advisory boards:

 

1-  Clinical Advisory Board

 

The clinical advisory board includes a group of highly renowned clinicians and educators from all over the world. They moderate the "case presentation" section of Endolit. They have worked together on the "rules & guidelines for case submission" to ensure that the published cases are within the highest standards in endodontic treatment. The Board evaluates and grades cases  for "Case Reports"  and "Videos".

 

 

2-  Scientific Advisory Board

The scientific advisory board includes a group of prominent educators and researchers. Their mission is to select the best articles published in clinical endodontics every month. Together with their post-graduate students they select and summarize these articles in the most efficient yet detailed form allowing the readers to grasp the essence of the research.

 

The scientific advisory board will also work on editing the classic literature library to ensure that all information is continuously updated to assist student, educators and researchers to learn about, teach and improve our endodontic literature.

 

  

 

Chief Editor

Adham A. Azim BDS

Dr. Azim is the Founder and Chief Editor of Endolit. He is a practicing endodontist in Hernando, Mississippi and maintains a research position in the Bio-Science department at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. 

 

Dr. Azim was born and raised in Cairo – Egypt. He earned his BDS from Cairo University in 2006, where he also did his endodontic residency. He practiced as an Endodontist in Cairo for a few years in several private practices and his own clinic. In 2010, he joined the Endodontic Post-Doctoral program at Columbia University, where he was first a resident and later a part-time faculty. Dr. Azim later joined the Endodontic Department at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center were he worked as an Assistant Professor . As of July 2015, Dr. Azim will serve as the Director of the Endodontic Post-Graduate Program at the Univerity at Buffalo (UB) in New York.

 

Dr. Azim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He has lectured in several countries in North and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. He has been awarded several times for his research work including the 1st
 prize in the American Association of Endodontics research Award Competition (Boston 2012) and the 1st prize in the Pan Arab Endodontic Conference (Dubai 2012). His has numerous publication in peer- reviewed journals such as Journal of Endodontics and International Endodontic Journal. He is also reviewer for multiple other journal.
