Here’s a case of Open apex.. the 14 year male patient visited the clinic with a chief complain of pain in the upper front teeth region.. On intraoral examination the tooth no 21 was tender on purcussion.. patient gave me the history of trauma at the age of 9 or 10..  i took an xray and xray was so confusing… as both the teeth 21 and 11 were showing the periapical pathology.. but their was no symptoms with 11.. so i did a vitality test(thermal as well as drill test).. 11 came to be vital.. i decided to go with root canal treatment with 21 where the apex was not completely formed.. I decided to go for caoh dressing for 14 days and obturation with MTA apical plug followed by the backfill with System B.. Have a look over the video too..
